At Yorktown Vineyard, we value children!  It is our goal that kids learn and experience Jesus for themselves. We want Sunday mornings to be one of the best experiences of your child’s week.   Our exciting, interactive and imaginative lessons are designed to reveal the love of Jesus to your children and challenge them to live it out daily.   
     It is our desire that every child come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We are also committed to partnering with parents to see a spiritual transformation in each child. All Children’s Ministry volunteers are carefully screened and trained to minister to your children. 

Children worship with their parents during the first part of the service.  Upon the completion of the corporate worship time, children are prayed for and dismissed into the following classes:

Nursery (0- 3 yrs) - Our nursery is not just crying babies and dirty diapers!  Each baby is loved, accepted and cared for with compassion by our devoted nursery staff.

PreK- 5^th Graders- Our elementary program is staffed with teachers who are mindful to the needs each individual child.  Through singing, dancing, crafts, Bible stories and so much more, our elementary kids are engaged with the love of Jesus.

6^th – 8^th Graders- Our “tweens” meet on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month.  In this class students will wrestle with questions and topics that are relevant to them.  Examples include “What’s the point of all this?” and “What if God’s plan for me stinks?”
