            What can we say about Lori, the "worship filled" leader?

   She first accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1976 when given the great news of Jesus  from her English teacher.  Lori is a loving mother of one beautiful daughter, Jaime, (who is an inspirational teacher), and a wife of 24 years to Bruce (who has just recently gone to the Lord). Through this loss Lori has never wavered from her faith in the Lord. The Lord has given her inspiration to create a song that has given her strength to continue in His work.

   Lori was called to worship when she began to lead worship in small groups, then as the Women’s worship coordinator in 1998. The Lord knew exactly what He was doing when He guided her in this direction of service. She is now the worship leader for Yorktown Vineyard. To see her up on the platform singing that sweet music of the Lord is an experience of His wondrous glory at work.  Off the platform she is entertaining and just gets down to earth with the word of God.

   When asked "What she would like to see happen for the Yorktown Vineyard Church?", she has said,  “To serve the people of God by setting an example which will help led them to abandon themselves in the passionate pursuit of Jesus and His Kingdom”.
