What Are Home Groups?
Home Groups are people gathering together in a small group setting of between 6 and 15 members. They meet in various homes throughout the Westchester region to support and care for one another, while each person grows in their relationship with God. Home groups help us to be involved in one another's lives so that we can "be" the church, and not just "go" to church. We do this by connecting with people and being in community with them.
What Happens at a Home Group?
Each group tends to take on its own unique "flavor", but generally you can expect to experience the following:
-
A time of worship
-
A biblical application to ones daily life
-
Sharing insights, feelings and concerns
-
A time of prayer
-
Utilizing Spiritual Gifts
-
Supporting fellow members
-
Time of social activities
-
Learning to minister to others
-
Outreaching the community
